Where is Finland?
Finland is one of the Nordic Countries and recently have been in the news for being ranked as the most happiest country in the world for 5 years continuously. On top of this, Finland has been one of the top ranking countries in education for many years. Many countries from around the world has adopted the Finnish way of teaching and in-turn revolutionized their own education system for the good. Finland is considered as one of the safest countries in the world to visits.
Where is University of Helsinki?
Helsinki is the capital city of Finland and bustling Helsinki University campus is right in the middle of the beautiful Finnish Capital city. Founded in 1640, the University of Helsinki is the oldest university in Finland. With a student body of 36,500, it is also the largest university in Finland and one of the leading multidisciplinary universities in the world. The University of Helsinki is constantly ranked among the top 100 universities in the world. Teacher education is one of the core competences of the university.
What is HY+?
HY+ is a fully-owned company of the internationally esteemed University of Helsinki, the oldest (est. 1640), largest, and highest-ranked higher education institution in Finland. The University of Helsinki Centre for Continuing Education HY+ provides continuing education and development services both in Finland and abroad. The purpose of our organisation is to improve the world of the future and promote individual wellbeing by enhancing learning, knowledge-sharing, and development.

Who is VentureVillage?
Venturevillage is an organization with its roots in Finland and have been operating in India, Middle east and Africa. They focus primarily on creating and delivering impact education to children around the world in the Finnish Pedagogy. For. eg. they have already delivered courses to almost 12000+ students and in 80+ schools and colleges in India. Their work has been highly appreciated and has been covered in several media outlets ( The Hindu , The Better India, Indian Express etc).
Why VentureVillage?
VentureVillage is the only trusted party who is authorized to facilitate the programs of University of Helsinki Centre for Continuing Education HY+ in India. VentureVillage with its knowledge of the education system in India coordinates the teachers training courses with HY+. That being said, the course facilitator, the webinar platform and the educational platform etc are owned and operated by University of Helsinki.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, on successful completion of the course, certificate is issued by the University of Helsinki Centre for Continuing Education HY+.
For whom is this course designed for?
This course is designed for pre-service (TTC, B’ed, M’ed students) as well as in-service teachers.
How does the Online course enrollment work for eg. Foundations of ECEC STEM?

How much time will it take for me to do the courses?
Each course has its own timeline specifically mentioned in the program pages. For example, the online self learning module: Foundation of ECEC STEM is designed to be done in a time frame of 2 to 4 weeks. This will include the webinar from the facilitator and the activities which you need to complete as part of the program, which are the lesson plan creation, peer teacher review etc.
Eduvisits to Finland for example is onsite in Finland and 5 days long. Student Visits to Finland are usually 10 days long.
How much it will cost me to do the course?
The cost of the courses are specifically mentioned on each course page. If you are signing up as an institution (more than 10 teachers ) you can contact us at info@venturevillage.world.
I have decided to pursue the course. How do I sign up?
You can pay and signup for the course anytime from the course page. You will be paying in INR. Please note that your payment will be made to VentureVillage (VentureVillage Learning Solution Pvt Limited). Once done, based on the course starting date, you will get a welcome email and an invite to the Webinar and simultaneously will get access to the educational platform. Can I pay and signup using bank transfer?

Does this certifications guarantee a job for me?
Like in the case of any educational programs, we cannot guarantee you anything a 100%. That being said, previous participants have done well in their career. Some have switched to leadership roles in the same schools, some switched to better teaching jobs and some have been headhunted by top schools in India. This depends on your interest and thus we cannot guarantee a job on completion of the course.
Do you provide refund after I have paid the amount?
We can process the refund based on case to case basis. For. eg. if you attend the webinar and request refund after we grant you access to the online learning platform, we will not be able to process the refund. With in 7 days of signup and before the course activities begin we can consider up-to 90% refund
When will the Education Visits to Finland be available?
Currently, we are restarting the Education visits to Finland. The upcoming batches are on 23rd of April to 15th of May (3 weeks)
